Journal de Mia

In 2016 the french agency Le Bureau des Affaires Graphiques asked me to illustrate the 11 cover collection from the famous Princess Diaries saga by Meg Cabot. It was a DREAM PROJECT!

Even though I've watched the Anne Hathaway + Julie Andrews movie a million times, I have never read the books! So this was my first assignment: read all 11 books from cover to cover.

These are some character studies. After reading about the main character and doing all the research I could, I wanted to draw Mia as many times as I could!

Each book had different elements that were useful to decorate the cover

I really fell in love with these characters! Drawing them and getting to know them was so fun!
