Instagram Comics

In 2014 I decided to stop uploading pictures and only upload illustrations on my Instagram account.

I was about to take a picture of my burger to share it (like one usually does on Instagram) when I stopped and thought "If I'm an illustrator, shouldn't I be drawing this?". So from that moment on, every time I had something to say, show or complain about, I did it with illustrations.

Throughout the years I uploaded so many illustrations, yet I felt something was missing; I was too scared to open myself up. I wanted to be relatable, and keep being positive, but I wanted to talk about deeper stuff.

It was then that I finally decided to talk about the things I cared about.

Sharing this stuff is painful but liberating. I feel like I'm an editor of my own made-up magazine and I can share my thoughts and create opinion pieces, for everybody to see.
