Children's Book Illustration

In 2016 I was commissioned to do ALL the illustrations from the wonderful Fun Science book by Charlie McDonnell.

Since one of my bucket-list items was to illustrate a science project, this commission was a dream come true!

Since there were almost no pictures in the entire book, all the scientific processes were explained with illustrations.

I was handed each chapter in advance, read it, highlighted what I thought was interesting and/or fun to illustrate and started designing characters/situations. Since the book is targeted to kids and teens, I wanted everything to be as fun and engaging as possible, without losing scientific accuracy.

I'm not gonna lie, I also learned A LOT reading Charlie's book
